Are you Really Too Busy for Food?

Do you ever just feel like your too BUSY for food? You feel like you just don’t have enough time to eat during the day. You start skipping meals and your fitness goals are really suffering.

What if I told you everyone in this world has the same 24 hours in a day. What if I told you that there are others out there in this world that get all their meals in and that those individuals are busier than you!

So, is it really time that holds you back?

Majority of the time it is not. You see most of the time it is because we just don’t view food as a priority in our lives. We place all of these other tasks (netflix, business, work, friends, family, etc.) before our own health. We don’t value the one thing that is essential to live because we are focused elsewhere.

It’s also because you just plain forget to eat! You get lost in your tasks and just forget to stop and eat. This can happen from time to time but we always use tools to help us remember through out the day.

It’s because you are unprepared. You have no plan; you don’t know what you want or don’t know what to eat so, you either don’t eat or just grab something quick/easy which is usually unhealthy.

Here’s 3 things you can do today to get rid of that too busy for food mindset.

  1. You have to set your priority list. Find out what’s most important to you, what can you push down the list, so you can focus on your food and health.
  2. If you’re forgetting to eat. Set timers or alarms on your phone to remind you to eat your meals. Sometimes that quick alarm is all you need!
  3. Establish a plan and execute it. This doesn’t mean you have to meal prep. But have a good understanding of what you need daily (calories, macronutrients, etc.). So, you can plan out your meals and have an idea of what you’re going to have moving forward.

Just remember it’s not that you don’t have the time. You just have to focus.

If you focus on these 3 simple things. You are going to crush that “too busy for food” mindset and be one step closer to your fitness goals.
