A Wonderland of Self Exploration: My First Time at a Nude Beach (Part 3)

Once I arrived at the bottom of the cliff, I set forth toward the more private location of the beach where one could take off their clothes. The sand was very soft and often warm from the sun. Not wanting to get sand in my shoes, I stopped to take off my shoes and socks; i felt the warmth of the sand on the soles of my feet. It was like a gentle massage as the granular substance sifted through my toes.
I recall that my first trip to San Gregorio was a weekday. As I looked down the coast line, I could see no one. It seemed quite desolate; like a deserted island. It was such a contrast to the busy urban city from which I just drove. Now, it was like walking through Alice’s Looking Glass as I was transported into this wonderland. To the left, I was serenaded by the ocean waves rushing up onto the shore. On the right were the high cliffs which provided shade and privacy for the nudists. Another special site on the beach were the “condos” that were created along the base of the mountain wall.
Past nudist explorers took the time to drag fallen tree trunks and branches that washed up from the ocean, along with other foliage and debris, to create these private huts. Imagine an igloo, but instead made of tree limbs. From the sand, you could only see the backside of the small bungalows that the beach explorers created. If you walked up to other side of the huts, you may find nudists sunning themselves, napping, self pleasuring, or enjoying the company of another (or others). A good portion of the beach had these private condos and on a weekday, it was always easy to find one that was open.
I always took my backpack with me to the beach. It was equipped with my school books, a sandwich, bottled water, sun screen, and a towel. Once I reached a certain point along the beach, it was secluded enough to take off all my clothes. I would stuff my shorts, shirt, shoes, and socks into my backpack and continue my trek down the beach until I found an inviting condo to spend the day.
The very first time I made my way to this beautiful location, I had finished my morning classes and decided that I was going to find this wonderland.
