Exciting news to share!

Today I would like to share a personal blog… I am going to Thailand! I hope you can already read the excitement in my typing. Although I am not going there to teach yoga on the beach (that’ll have to wait for Puerto Vallarta in the upcoming months, more on that in a moment), I am going to spend time with my brother and his family. I have always wanted to visit Thailand, but never quite got there. With family living there, in a condo in the heart of Bangkok, it seemed like the perfect time to go. Oh, and for the fact that this will be their last year working there.

Over the past several years I have been incrementally working towards being a yoga, fitness, health instructor full time. Along with the advances in technology, it is now easier than ever to be a digital nomad- in this industry! Lockdowns were tough on everyone, but it did open the door to people becoming more used to using online tools for their health and wellness. I have found great success in both online coaching, video demos, and online resources that have allowed me to carry on with my clients wherever I may be. Confession: I do prefer in person teaching though. Staring at computer screens drains me. Being around people invigorates me. I guess you can tell I’m an extrovert, then.

I will spend 12 days in Thailand, mostly in Bangkok. I know, I know. People will tell me of all the wonders outside of Bangkok, and that I’ll miss the islands, etc. I am sure I will have the opportunity to visit in the future and do a tour of the rural areas. I have looked at the activities within Bangkok, and I am sure I will remain busy for the whole time. And I bet my brother will have some surprises for me. Plus, I will still be working, so stay tuned for some new videos from me with tropical landscapes. I’m really looking forward to upping my game with my online content. Although the material you present should be valuable no matter where you are presenting it, having a tropical breeze and beach nearby doesn’t do any harm! Although, there aren’t any public nude beaches in Thailand, apparently. They’re fairly conservative about that. Who knew!

I mentioned that I will be returning tp puerto Vallarta this coming Winter. From December to May. I will be teaching yoga on the beach for the public, and yoga in the beach for the *not* so public. I have some amazing opportunities to explore there with local businesses who feature clothing optional spaces and events. I am gearing up to establishing myself in Vallarta for the foreseeable future. This is year two of me going down there.

I am definitely a seaside beach person. I love the smell of the ocean, the atmosphere, the sun. I can handle rain, even in the rainy seasons, but since I have reclaimed my travel self, I will happily change locations during the summer. Perhaps next year I will do a  tour of the states….

This was just a brief tale to share with all of you my upcoming adventures. If you happen to be in Thailand from November 10-22, Or are in Puerto Vallarta next winter, feel free to drop me a line and say hello. Stay tuned for more story telling from my trips. I’ll happily share them with you all.
